About Me

My photo

A man of many words. Profane, profound, loyal to a fault and a right rat bastard. I love the finer things in life: expensive cigars, cheap women and all the salted, cured meats I can eat. A friend to dogs, lover of humanity and despiser of people. If I were King the world would be a better place, because, well...I would be King! Oh, and I like ice cream.

One Reason Why Washington Would Be a Good Place to Live...

for a political junkie like me. These fliers were for various upcoming speakers and symposiums at George Washington University's The Elliot School for International Affairs. They are hard to read in this picture, but included are such events as: "China's Global Activism," "Election Politics in Bangladesh and the Crisis of Democracy," "The New Indian Middle Class," and "The Yomiuri Project on War Responsibility in Japan."

Wonder why they never have these things in Columbiana?
