Down to the River in Ships

Rainy skies greeted us this morning as we crossed into Laos. We boarded our long boat for a leisurely
cruise down the "Mother of Rivers," the Mekong. Our day ended in the tiny town of Pak Beng, where I enjoyed a delicious water buffalo steak. Two actually. One of our troop didn't like hers after she'd taken a bite. I felt I owed it to the buffalo since on his part he'd committed 100% to the meal. For some reason I didn't feel the same way about the potato.

My pleasure Lynn! But what I'd like is if we travelled in real time together.
